Well, as usual been super busy.  But things have changed a lot in the last couple of weeks.  Since it appears that I will not be going off to training for Southwest anytime soon, best estimates is the new year... I have decided to work on finishing my requirements for my MPA.  So, last week I decided to look into signing up for my internship and as I was snooping around I realized that the last class I need (which I had been told was not going to be offered) was actually being offered this semester!  So, in a panic I filed my financial aid, went in and talked to my township manager about starting an internship soon, drove to Detroit and filled out a bunch of paperwork to get everything in order, and then went to class that night! Whew!

Anyway, things are moving along nicely.  I told Crapplebee's that I would have limited availability since I am going to be at school.  And I should be recieving a nice loan check any day now.  I'm a bit nervous about taking out more loans but on the other hand it will offer me a chance to pay off my credit cards at an awesome interest rate! yippee!  And even more exciting by mid-December the only requirement I will have left for my MPA is the Comprehensive Exam! Hoorah!

Aside from that the last couple of weeks have been spent working lots. 

My roommate moved most of her stuff out yesterday.  I am a little nervous because she has still not paid me rent for this month AND she owes me $$ from her first month here.  I do trust her but I can't help but be nervous because of what happened with my last roomie... 

My youngest brother will be moving in soon.  That should be interesting but as I will be busy with school and work I don't imagine that we'll see each other all that much.  And at least with him I am gauranteed that all his bills will be paid on time and in full.

Monday I'm leaving for St. Louis with my Mom.  We're flying this time which will be nice, only an hour and half as compared to a 8-9 hour drive.  We're going to stay with one of my great aunts.  She was already planning the type of food she would be fixing for us when I talked to her a couple of weeks ago including some delicious pie.  

Tuesday it will be a girl's night out when my Mom, me, my Aunt, and another Aunt all go to the Cardinal's game.  Can't wait for that!  The game is one of the last 4 regular season games and will be against the Houston Astros... a possible playoff contendor.  My Aunt Carol sent me an email warning me that she tends to get "a little rowdy at baseball games"... I replied that I think it's a family trait.

Other than I think my Mom and I will try to catch a few cultural things while we're in town.  And I'm sure we'll come back 10lbs heavier from all the food everyone will be cooking for us!

Ooh nearly forgot! On a happy note... DMB has announced a new winter tour with a stop here in Detroit at Joe Louis Arena! YEAH!
